Just picked up a Catcherman last night and am very impressed. When you leave it closed, the butt of the handle fits snugly in your hand giving you a tremendous blunt thrusting tool. If you choke up on it and place your thumb on the hump in the blade, you can use the upsweep of the "bolster" to hook and pinch.
Of course you can still use it as a regular knife if you so choose to do so. The blade may seem a little thin for hitting bone, but then, everybody criticizes the Civilian for that too. And that thin sweeping blade just begs to slice.
This is the one I'll be carrying while my Military is in the shop for repairs.
Does anybody else carry a Catcherman for tactical purposes?

All you need is love... a sharp blade and a full clip
