Folks,

I just got off the phone with Craig. He, as always, was up to his neck in work with very little time to kick back and chat. During our conversation we agreed that Craig would have a little more time to play with if someone were to post details of the GH specials and other pertinent info that comes along from time to time. Soooooo, I've volunteered to help with that little detail.

For my 1st official act as the unofficial GH News Anchor Person, I am pleased to announce the following special offer:

The SN-1 Ceremonial Special - $60.00 Shipped
Price includes:

A Standard Service Number 1 Khukuri
A Patent Leather Ceremonial Sheath
Standard UPS Continental Domestic shipping

For $15.00 bucks less than what you would pay for a standard SN-1 and shipping, you get it shipped to you and you get the Ceremonial sheath thats great for display.

The offer is good until November 1st. This special is for forumites only and isn't listed on the GH website. Methods of payment are Check or PayPal only. Send it (with a note explaining what it's for) to:

Gurkha House
1104 Ohio Street North
Arlington VA 22205

And now for a Public Service Announcement:

Would the thief who stole the Amex card from Mrs. Entworth Shrillwhistle (of Vinegar Springs, Arkansas) please keep it. Her husband informed this reporter that the thief is currently spending less than 10% of what his wife would have spent so far this week. Mr. Shrillwhistle thanks you.

Funny, Blackdog - Just a correction - it only comes with one sheath, but it is the Patent Leather one, so it's a plus. Normal retail on this item is $79.00 (the normal Sn1 is $69.00).

Regards,

Craig.

Awww, shux. Now why did y'all have to go and turn on the flashin' blue light.? Next thing I know, there will be the voice that says, "Attention all Gurkha House shoppers..." Puh-leeze tell me that you won't do the VA state tax, too. Just say it ain't so! (Y'know it just might help the situation some if our wives could become friends.)

Uh-oh. I just stepped into that with BOTH feet, didn't I? (ought to be more careful of what I ask for) Craig, this is one of the few times in life that I wish you weren't such a swell guy...what to do...what to do. I suppose it might be a little bit too much to ask for you to secretly slip it into the safe (where the khukuris now have majority rule) whilst I take everybody to Ben & Jerry's. It might even be worth a trip to the outlaws (can you sense the despiration?). On the other hand, maybe I should take a bold risk and buy it for the wife (then she could buy a handbag and some shoes to go with that patent leather sheath!) Maybe GH has lay-away. Oh man, now I've gotta roll up my pants, 'cause it's too late to save my shoes.
