Why is there so little discussion on H&B Forge tomahawks? A couple of years ago there was quite a bit of post regarding their hawks but I have noticed very little lately. I do not post in this forum very much but I'm a dedicated lurker. I've owned a number of H&B hawks and I've always found them to be a best buy in terms of tomahawks. I currently own a Seneca hawk.

Any thoughts on why they are not discussed or recommended more?

I have two of them, the Viking and the Shawnee.

The blades are a bit on the thick side, very stout, and also very tough.

I really like the Viking and the medieval axe. Thanks for the link.

Years ago I owned a smaller version of the medieval axe. It was made the size of their ladies hawk. It was a great little tomahawk but I just didn't have any use for a spike. I'm still impressed with the quality of my Seneca for the price I paid. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

I agree that they are a bit on the thick side.

I have the shawnee and one of there throwing knives.
For the price you cant beat them....

Here's a few pics of my Sececa from H&B Forge. I also added a few pics of my double powder horn.

I've had 2 for about 12 years, they balance well in my paw and have seen lot's of use at Scout camps and campouts.
It's amazing how much fun a bunch of kids can have trying to throw one and make them stick, and then learning how to sharpen them and use them properly.
