Hand made hawk and Curly Ash..

A wrap and weld made of 1065. Completely hand forged(one lick at a time with a hand hammer), hand filed and hand sanded with a block and paper. Forged and welded in a coal forge..Hand made/hand forged really means "Hand Made" with this one Been making a lot of hawks like this lately. No machinery, just hands on..The traditional/reenactor crowd mostly..Its kinda fun too, time consuming but fun..Curly Ash stained with Aqua Fortis. The pics dont do the ash justice, its beautiful up close..
