I am looking for a short (7-9" OAL), handmade, tanto that is both functional and collectable. Does anyone have any input on this subject? I've seen a Bud Nealy knife that I really like but there are several other knives that have caught my attention also. Ricky Fowler has a tanto on his web page and Boyer is making one or two also. Who is doing the best work? Who is the most collectable? Please enlighten me O venerable knife sages of the internet. Thank You, Chet.

Look at Kevin Wilkins page, he has some Tanto's made of traditional Japanese steel. I don't own any of his knives, but I have heard nothing but good things about him and his knives.
