For the ancient Celts this day marked the end of the old year and the start of the new. It was the time when the last yields of summer gave way to the coming winter, a time to celebrate all aspects of life that are dropping away, emotions, pain, relationships gone or ending, old habits no longer needed and more, a time to honor those lessons learned from the experiences of those situations to move forward in life.
It was believed the veil between dimensions was the thinnest at this time of year so many used this time to honor the dead or to try to commune with them during this time but the general theme of this time of year was out with the old, and in with the new. Whatever thoughts or plans one had in the way of goals was meditated on or prayed over during this time for the coming year. Whatever you have planned for yourselves may your next season be prosperous.
Happy Halloween
