I doubt I'll have time to post anything in the morning, so I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys and your familys.

And for those of you who are traveling, lets be carefull out there!

And since it is a day for giving thanks, I would like to thank the mods, and owners of this site for allowing us to have such a nice place to come to share information, stories, photos, and a civilized disagreement or two. And a special thank you to Jackknife for the wonderful stories you post for us. And thank you to all the other members of these forums for being supportive, helpful, and down right enjoyable to share information with.

Great post, stingray4540. Very true on all counts. BTW, I'll be cutting up my turkey this year, as usual, with an old carbon steel Dexter boning knife that belonged to my grandad. Cuts like a laser!

Have a great Thanksgiving all... It truly is a day to step away from our normal daily routine, spend time with family and be thankful for what we have.. And it definetely isn't the material things. My grandad passed away 3 years ago at the age of 92.. He died the day before his 93rd B-day and 2 days before thanksgiving.. I miss him every day, but I am thankful for all the time I got to spend with him and all the memories.. He was a great man.
 
We are definitely a blessed bunch of folks here in the USA. Happy Thanksgiving folksy folks!

Happy Thanksgiving all. (Just logged on for a few min. Darn computers up in 10-uh-C are slow. We had to run a network cable from the out-house.)

But to all the great forum Moderators and Super Mods, I wish you one and all a Happy Thanksgiving. A special thanks to Jackknife for all the great stories, This forum is THE place to be. I'll be eating ham not turkey, but will be giving thanks all the same. The house will be filled with Children, Grandchildren and Great Loving and supporting in laws. I am truly blessed with a great family.

I consider most everyone I have communicated on the forum to be my friend and that is a blessing in itself. Thanks for sharing pictures, stories and parts of your life. It has been a great time for me.
