I sent mine in to get the tang pin replaced and get a sharpening and it took about a week and a half to two weeks from when I sent it to when I got it back.

I was pretty impressed.
 
The actual service time was less than a week. You shipping time (you don't show where you are located) will probably to longest part of it. They are in Oregon.
 
Go through a dealer.

Send the knife to the dealer, have the dealer ship it to BM, and have BM send it back to the dealer.
 
I've sent TONS of stuff to BM.., not specifically for sharpening, but I have never experienced a long waiting period to get a knife back.., they are great about customer service stuff, and will inform you through email if something is going to take longer than expected.
