I'm ordering one of those knives next.I really love the one dad has.The Iroquois hawk is really nice.Light and sharp as hell. It's going to be a great hiking hawk.I'll be taking it for a great run tomorrow.

Them are Nice, The Hawk Is a "Beauty" and the Rendezvous Style Thrower Is Perfect, I like the Blade Style, Does the Thrower come with a Good Edge ?

It comes with a throwing edge. It'd stick into something if you throw it.I don't imagine it'd be too hard to get it to a "Knife" edge. The false edge is sharpened as well.

Thank's for the Info., I was'nt sure about the Blade Edge and I can see the Blade Tip Is definitely for what It was designed to do Rondezvous Style Throwing Comp., I've been wanting to get one for quite some time, I sure nuff like It, That Iroqouis Hawk Is Nice, Fort Turner Hawk's have the Edge, Maybe we'll get some more picture's from Tomorrow's Wood's Run, Enjoy your New Hawk !

Congrats on the new Iroquois hawk. I got mine a few weeks ago and really love it! Post up some pics if you can, from it's "maiden woods voyage".

When I got up this morning it was raining so hard I thought God was trying to wash us all away.It finally cleared around noon and I got under way.
First...The Llama seal of approval.I was going to take him hiking but he was wet and grumpy so I decided not to.He likes my hawk though. It must be the lacquer Dana uses or something but my llamas both like to chew my handles.

The grip is a combination of para cord and rough leather.I like the differing feelings it gives.
Out in the woods I wanted to see how it threw.I was not disappointed.

Stuck 3rd throw.
It chops quite well though a little light for any serious tree felling it'll work just fine if you keep it within it's weight class.

Second throw.Stuck first time.

Third throw.Stuck second try.

All in all I'm really happy with the Iroquois hawk.Light enough for long distance carry but tough enough for getting the job done.Sorry,I can't tell how much it weighs.I'd liken it to my Norse Hawk form CS for weight. As far as cutting ability only my Rogers Rangers equals it in cutting edge and sharpness.
Here's a shot just for the beauty.
