Been meaning to post this so that people have an idea of, who out there is a good custom maker to deal with. Mike Franklin is someone who is willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. I had some folders made for me and he was patient and willing to make any changes needed to satisfy my requests.

I never really post good or bad about any maker, but since there seems to be so much bad being posted sometimes, I figured that I would let it be known, who out there is good to deal with.

I have some other custom makers working on my knives who are also great people to deal with. I will post this also.

Oh, and service doesn't get much better than Bill Martino of Himalayan Imports. If you guys have not checked out his products, don't miss oout, as once they are gone, the best khukuri's in the world will also be gone.

I agree with you completely. Mike Franklin goes out of his way to get you a solid knife, with a unique look and as quickly as possible. I haven't seen him at any Ohio shows lately, does anyone know if he still puts the big ol' hog head on his table?

Possibly, the best service I have ever had was from Mike and Helen Fuller at TOPS knife. they are some of the kindest most helpful people I have ever known. They'll do just about anything to make sure your happy with your knife.

thanks for sharing this cobalt

take care
