I have searched hi and low for a blade to fit certain specs but can't find it. SOoooo..
I'm thinking of grinding my own, however I'm wondering if I can send it to someone to have it heat treated.
Is this done? Any suggestions?
Thanks much
JB

It depends on the steel. Paul Bos is an incredible Heat Treater, Rob Simonich is also very good, too. Rob can do the oil quench stuff, whereas Paul Bos can olny o air quench steels due to environmental regulations. 1095, O-1, L6 can be heat treated at a machine shop..heat with oxy acetelyne torch till non magnetic, quench in oil, temper in kitchen oven.
