Seems to be the quiet before the storm at both forums here lately! With blade coming and all those wonderful prices on all those wonderful blades I had to do something!!!:eek: Its really hard to see all those good deals pass by and not stir something up somewhere to ease the frustration!:p

Cool sheath idea!! I have my guesses, but what exactly is the purpose of attaching the sheath to the belt loop of a pair of pants?

Hey Andrew, sorry for the late reply, the daughter decided to latch on to me like a tick on a hound dog! lol! The reason for the loop on the lower part of the sheath is to stabilize the bottom of the sheath and keep it from wanting to tip handle up. It also holds the sheath in place when your drawing the knife.

Steven, I promise an e-mail is coming today! :p Got a little distracted yesterday. Cool! I found a gunea pig for the 'coot version of the BAD ASS, OMG!! Its the coot ASS!!!!!!!:barf: I know theres a better name out there!!!! Theres gotta be!!:eek:

Thanks very much for the offer guys, I am fortunate enough to have one in hand right now so no problems. I wonder if the resiprene will cause this one to hold even tighter than the AD does? Probly will, I will take that into consideration when making this one.

Nothing like a field test to see if an idea works! ;)
Now to see if the 'Coot ASS will live up to the rep that the BAD ASS has attained, thats a hard act to follow!:D

Not too sure about the Captain Fantatsic but Ziggy Stardust was an early identity for David Bowie- Kinda of an androgenous Tina Turner!! LOL! My folks weren't crazy about the Queen/WHO/Yardbirds era in my music choice... "What did he just say...?! Oh, nothin', Mom...:)" I won't dignify the suggestion of giving my ARK up but you did get to play with it before I did!! :)

Dangit! Those words are so familiar and I just cannot think of where they are from!! :( Please let us know!

All right now, here's a pic of the BAD ASS in action. I have found that the way this sheath sits is entirely dependent on ones waist size. A skinny bastid like me will leave the handle sticking out a bit, a longer strap on the snap will cure some of that. Heck, eliminate the snap and put a light loop on the back and you've got a skinny mans BAD ASS (oxymoron??) :D

Imalterna, your right I did get to play with that ARK before you got it in your hot little hands didnt I?:D ;) You get one advantage though, your new Busse ARK will come with a nice tight leather dress!!!:eek: Now thats a rare one....
