my first benchmade arrived today,a 47blk.My first bali since I was 12.been flipping it for about three hours and I think I've got the basic openings and windmills back where they were back then.Really much more enjoyable with a quality bali, very smooth.Anyhow, the pivots are already loosening,I have loctite but no torx wrench!Does anybody know a good source for these little sizes? also what size I need?I ran a search and it seems like there's some 8's and 9's out there?lots of good info on this forum, learned a lot going through old posts...Thanks!

Benchmade sells a 'kit' that has a driver and all the torx bits sized for their knives. I've seen them under $10 for this kit.
Blue Box™ tool kit - Six-Lobe Screw bit driver
(bit sizes 6-8, 10, 15), plastic case
Benchmade uses six lobe, torx-like headed screws exclusively throughout the assembly of our knives. This engineered screw style offers a more "controllable" means of achieving tightness. Occasionally you may want to adjust blade tension, remove the carry-clip or simply tighten any loosened screws, so now we offer the The Bluebox for those purposes. Kit includes bit sizes 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, one phillips head bit and bit holder/extension all self-contained in a molded plastic case which doubles as the handle. Features removable plastic carry-clip on case.

As knifezilla put it:

"The perfect set to ruin your warrenty!"

Actually, with a BM bali that isnt quite possible with just those tools.

The kit is kinda neat, but if you only need the size for the pivot screws go to any hardware, home depot, or sears and but one wrench. They're like 2 bucks.

If you have more knives that use torx I would buy the BM kit, it really is handy having all those sizes, but if you only need one size, dont spend 10 bucks.
