The daughter of deceased knife maker Mike Parsons (believe he was from Texas) is looking for one of his knives or even pictures of his knives as keepsakes. I thought it would be nice to help her and I did some searching and found an old sale listing from AZCK but that was it. She said he sold them in Texas and Arkansas in the 80's. If anyone has any info or a lead on one of his knives, please give me a shout. I think there is another knifemaker named Mike Parsons from Indiana and a pen maker as well so it may be a little confusing.

Just trying to help this woman out. Mods, please move if needed.

Thanks.

If AZCK is Ariozona Custom Knives, she might want to call Julie Hyman and she will be very helpfull I am sure. Julie is a sweet person and may try to find the costumer who bought any Parson knife in the past or provide pictures if she has records.

Gabe,

I am not sure, but I will email the daughter and ask if she knows about the article. If you have that edition, does it mention that he is from Texas?

BrB, I suggested that she contact Julie to do as you suggested.

I know this is 12 years old but sometimes things work out that way.
I bought this knife in Ft. Worth Texas on or about Sept 1986 from a Pawn Shop and have never seen one like it nor found any info on it .
MAYBE is a missing link for this Lady ???
Regards

Your image link doesn't work, possibly because the hosting forum requires people to be logged in to view images. You can uploade it to a photohosting site, such as imgur.com, then select the BBCode link & post it here.

My grandfather acquired this knife for me as a birth gift, and gave it to me when I turned 18. I cherish it very much, and is the only irreplaceable item I own. He was from ft. Worth. It had to be made in the mid 80s

This is mike parsons daughter I saw by chance any chance you still have the knife??? It would mean the world to me to find one!

Anyone have a knife of my dads please contact me. He was a knife maker in Texas in the 80’s. It would mean so much to my sister and I to own one or at least see some.

I would suggest placing an ad under our Knife Exchange sub-forum under Wanted To Buy. It would be helpful to list the location and period for when he was active.

I would also reach out to these guys.
