Help for a newbie?

Hi ppl, just a few quick questions. Does anyone know of a good place to buy barstock/and or sheath materials? I'm looking into making my first knife, but dont know where to get stuff I need.
Any help with this is really appreciated, thanks!!

CL Wilkens has an extensive list on the Shop Tips forum...you may have to do a search as i think its on the one they put at the bottom...but It has a VERY long list of places to get anything you want relating to knifemaking stuff.....
