help! i lost my....

...rekat hobbit fang in my nieghbor's yard somewhere, long story short, it flew across the street and hit then lawn, then i think it bounced into some bushes. i spent the better part of an hour poking around for it but to no avail. does anyone have any tips for finding lost knives? damned black coating...makes the knife so hard to see:mad:
 
unfortunately, no, i gave it some thought and even thought of buying one for my own but decided that i would never have the time to use it other that just this once..
 
Contact a local club. They'll be glad to help. Being "techies" and "shiny kit" nuts, you might even recruit a couple more potential knuts.

comb it section, by section, in a methodical manner. And get down on your hands and knees. Sometimes, the thing is there but we can seem to see it from where we're standing. Good luck :)
 
Try running a large magnet over the area where you think it landed and other areas close by.
 
I had almost that same thing happen except the blade flew out of my pocket and into the bush. I never did find it:( .
