Help identifying year of this knife

I just purchased this knife off eBay. It came in a plastic sleeve but I am not sure the markings on the knife match that of the packaging. Any input would be appreciated.

Any idea as to what steel was used?

Most likely it is 420HC or 440A.

The listing was rather lacking in photos and info so I took a chance on the auction hoping it was an actual Schrade. Oh well. From what I have read on other postings I guess it is still considered a decent knife.

I would have preferred an OG Schrade but I guess, at least, it's better than one that was made by Taylor Cutlery from what I have been reading.
