Help me name this knife.

Beautiful blade...! My first impression and thought for a name that came to mind is "Manatee". Sorry but that what came to mind. Beautiful work. Good Luck with the name search.

Two images come to mind: RIVERBOAT GAMBLER - knife any riverboat gambler would have been proud to carry GOLD RUSH - lines remind me of the heyday of the California Makers like Michael Price , Will & Finck & others! CALIFORNIA DREAM another alternative - lines remind me of California bowies of the past & present.

First thing that came to my mind when I saw it was an icicle. Gotta go with what bugs said, something playing on the ice theme. :cool:
 
Kinda reminds me of a fish shape.How about calling it "Mako" or "Sturgeon" "Pirahna" or "Marlin"I don't know,thats about the only ideas I have.
 
I've thought about this since yesterday and here's what I came up with. It looks like 'The Guardian' or 'Guardian Angel' to me. When I look at it I think of heavenly things. The pommel end makes me think of an angels wings. That's just my take on it.
 
When I first saw the knife I thought it should be "Chuck's Knife".;)

It does look vaguely fishy A.T., but it also looks very stout, very strong.
