Hi All:

I was looking to get a "better" quality pocket knife. Since I like the Case brand and their Bose designs and love the Wharncliffe blade, my natural choice was the Case Norfolk. Seems like it is really well made and a fun knife to own. However, thanks to another post on this forum, I found Al Warrens's website...he has a nice single blade wharncliffe for about a 120.00 more. Before you suggest it...can't afford both <G>. What would you pick (and why)? Thanks,

Kevin

I'm assuming you're okay with spending somewhere around $450.00 (unless you know where to get a Norfolk for less than about $320.00). If that's the case, I would order one of Al Warren's or I would consider getting one of the great knives that BF members make and sell here. Todd Davison, Ken Coats, Ken Erickson, Rick Menefee and others come to mind. Or finding a maker whose work you like and ordering exactly what you want.
