Help? muh studs' comin' off!

Greetings, my gerber AF folder is having a problem. The dual thumb studs are getting REALLY loose and i wonder if it can be replaced? I was thinking of the allen screw on type, is it possible? Where can i get them? Do they come in various sizes or are they standard? But most importantly, how do i get the old ones off? They are the snap on type if that is what it's called. If anyone has a AF-combat folder, do you have the same problem? The problem here is that there is no such thing as a knife shop in Malaysia, i've tried the hardware store but they too don't know how to deal with it. If anyone out there with the knowledge, please help.
