Knives that are capable of firing .22 caliber rounds. They have a six shot cyclender within the handle, and the barrel runs is in the upper portiom of the knife handle. The trigger is on the lower portion of the handle.

click on grad knife-gun when in there.:D

I can't quite figure out how it works but I think the kamis could probably copy it unless it has a lot of small internal parts. But, that would catapault us into a whole new ball game and not one I think I want to play in.

Hope Kendo was joking around. New ball game, new ball park. Importing firearms, testing etc. Liscense' Fees, transportation, shipping. YUK

it was just a joke, but sure is a intrestin knife,so i thought you would all appreciate a laugh, and a look at an excellent knife. :p :D ;)

Ken, there have been knives with barrels and firing mechanisms, and guns with blades attached, since the days of matchlocks. The fact that they are collected as oddities tells you how successful they were....of course, getting caught with one on your person in Australia, most of the U.K., and lots of other places can change your status from "collector" to "collected"

In Japan it's the same condition about projectile weapons. Any idea how to apply cordite (or black powder, etc) to a khukuri to make it an impact weapon instead projectile weapon? Like, well it may sound silly, a telescopic khukuri blade with a piston and cylinder inside, when you pull trigger the blade suddenly stretches up to 6' then comes back to the starting position?

It would be simpler to make it a single shot in the handle. Still, you want a good gun; get one, you want a good knife, buy a HI khukuri. Never the twain shall meet.

As Wal says, these combo weapon variants have been around as curiosities for a long time. They are just that -- curios, as they historically are neither a good knife or a good gun. It was fashionable for a time to blend swords with guns. I thinking an axe blended with a shotgun would be cool, tho! Sorry, too much Anime..

might suit your needs.

Although, of course, it's illegal everywhere. At first I thought it was just fiction from spy novels, but I went on a search, and found:

http://www.vampiregerbil.com/ballistic/

seems to be referred to as a "ballistic knife". Hard to tell if it was actually the stuff of issue for the elite troops or not.

Apparently, knives not only can shoot bullets, but blades as well.

Does a single bullet deringer fit one of karda / chakma pocket? Just out of curiosity as it seems hardly of use, and handguns are all illegal to own and carry for a citizen in Japan.

Ok, here we go.

Try this:
1) Drill a 3/16" round hole about 1/2" from the point.
2) Drill another 3/16" hole at the end of the pommel near the bottom
3) Thread a loop of 20Ga steel wire through each hole and secure.
4) Attach a length of latex cord to each end
5) cut the cord directly over the cho and tie each end to a 4" by
1.5" square of leather
6) Insert small rock in leather patch and pull away from blade
7) Make sure your target appears at the center of the cho
8) Release rock and let fly

If you think any of this would work, then please take two asprin, and call your psychiatrist in the morning. :D
