I've heard of the MT MOD 10. I've seen a MT-10 on the TAD site. Has there ever been a BN MOD 10/BN-10 or a BT MOD 10/BT-10? Will there ever be a BN MOD 10/BN-10 or a BT MOD 10/BT-10?

"I would think Mick can make you a BN or BT mod 10."

I'm sure he could. That's one of those little things for me to get interested in next year. It looks like I'm going to spend more on Striders this year than I've spent on all the other knives I've ever bought, put together.

I hate to admit it, but I think I'm becoming a collector...

They have done the WB Mod 10 the BN Mod 10, and the BT Mod 10, but the trouble is that the BN and the BT look like crap. Too ugly for public consumption. Need not reapply.

I remain ignorant; I cannot tell the difference between an MT and an MT-10... could someone please explain?

Thanks, Christiaan.

I'm no expert on this, but I think the MT-10 is ten inches OAL, with a 5 inch blade. The MT is 1.25" longer. MT-L is 1 inch longer yet (7.25" blade). I hope I got that right!

We remove .75” from the blade and .75” from the handle. The result is a 10 inch overall knife. (MOD10).

Like Ryan said, when you do it with the BN or the BT it looks kind of like a big bag of hairy sphincters.

Sorry…

But we will make you one if you like that kind of thing.

Mick, thanks for offering, but I don't think I want a Strider that looks like "a big bag of hairy sphincters"...

Reagan, I've seen that picture before. I was hoping that was NOT what a BN-10-SS looked like. I wouldn't go so far as to say it looks like "a big bag of hairy sphincters", but it's not exactly my style. FWIW, I've pretty much decided to get a BT-SS. After that, no more Striders, this year anyway...
