Are we giving away any free stuff? Haven't paid much attention lately and I just figured we weren't giving away enough stuff.

Currently the "what would you do with" contest and the psk fishing contest for sure.
 
Just make sure we keep giving stuff away. Makes this place fun and interesting.
 
This is one of the many reasons i love this company, need to post more to get a RP No though... Hats off to you guys, you and leatherman have far too much of my money... :D

I think i never saw a company so eager to give away gear. Great attitude!
One reason alone to support ESEE.
 
I joined this forum because of ESEE so I've never really looked at any of the other subs. Don't they all give stuff away like this??? (Sarcasm)
 
make the contests more accesible to more people...

for example, the fishing kit... i have no idea where to go fishing... not many places around here i guess (at least I don't know of any places :( )
 
Hell, the contest are accessible to a lot of people as is.
 
great thread! and me w/ a shiny new RP #. Now I can actually join a contest and not just look at all the cool stuff being built.

I especially love the subversion of the traditional scheme. It isn't so much, "lets get the company name out there!", it is more of a, "let's get some members out there doing stuff, we'll provide the motivation!"

ESEE is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies, although I have known about you guys less than a year.

Since i joined here i started making fire with a firesteel and thinking about making a shelter in the forest. I am even planning on making a fire kit including sisal rope and charcloth, and the worst you can get here is being stranded a 2 hour walk from civilization. If it aint really needed here, its still damn good fun :)

Way better than reading about people who got another 'great' knife, with the only purpose to gather dust in a safe or glass case... Make my fingers itch...
