Im usually hanging at KK outpost or primal fires
blacksmith and knife maker in the Adirondacks in upstate NY
I work in 5160 and 1095, forge as cclose to shape in a hand crank powered coal forge, then go to files to clean up the profile then stones and paper for the finish.
heres some pics of some recently finished work by way of introduction
1095 with labradorite and brass.
vegtan handstitched sheath
5160 with 5160 guard and pommel, curly maple handle
fittings are 3/4 inch round wrought barstock forged to shap then etched
blade 5160
handle is thuya burl, purpleheart, and curly maple
that one has since had a lil more polishing done andawaits a sheath
hammer finished 5160 with burled cherry handle
