Hinderer Standoffs; I know I know..

I believe this has been discussed but not so much In depth. My question is:

If I get the blue titanium Standoffs, and hinderer screws from a XM18 3", will it all fit properly?

I remember reading something about either the ZT ones are threaded.. Or the Hinderer ones are threaded or something. And the Hinderer Standoffs need their own screws/hardware..

Anyone chime in?

To use the Hinderer standoffs on the ZT you would have to use the Hinderer hardware as well because of how they are designed. Rick himself also said that there's a slight difference in thickness of the standoffs as well, so it won't be a "perfect" fit. But in the same sentence he said that he was planning on making custom standoffs for the ZT in the near future, so I'd wait for that if you really want Hinderer standoffs on your 0550/0560.
 
Wonderful news. How long ago did he say that? And any projected ETA? I hope they give these knives more love like that for customization options like a XM. I'm not ready to drop the money yet, until I get my new promotion work and a little over double my take home amount. :)

He made that comment last month, no idea on an official date, you might want to contact him or Rob on that. Seeing as how the custom scales for the 0550 are out now, I can imagine that the other little custom things will be out soon enough. I'm with you on that too, I would love as many options for customization as I can get with my 0560. Unfortunately the Hinderer scales only fit the 0550, I just hope the 0560s get as much attention in the near future.
