What a show.

This was my first time at the Blade show and I was not mentally, or physically prepared.

The first day was spent on just looking at HALF of the place. It's really would take all w/e to take on the task of looking at the whole place . Truly a spectical that everyone should try to get to.

Deb and I had a great time. Got to see some good friends and finally get to put a face with the names of some fellow forumites.

And one great thing is that I went ahead and joined the ABS. I really excited about that.

I sure did enjoy getting to meet everyone. Too many names to list.

I'll most definately be there again next year if by any way possible.

Do yourselves a big favor and start planning for 2006.

Glad you had a good time -- wish I could have been there to meet you.
I will be there next year! :D

Man, I wish I could have stayed longer but we had a great first anniversary!

All I can say...if you make knives go to the BLADE show!!!
Good to hear your on the road to ABS Mark.

Glad you guys had a good time!

It's definitely overwhelming.

Sorry I couldn't make it, and missed you bastids.

Like Burch said, NEXT year!!! :D

I missed most of the guys I wanted to meet. Simply too much to see in one day.
NEXT YEAR though :D

I was caught with my pants down this year. I had all the plans to go, but getting booted from my job threw a wrench in the works. I so greatly wanted to meet a lot of you forumites there. Sadly, I spent the weekend applying sealer to the house siding and getting sunburned. I drank copious amounts of beer, and ate bbq... it just left me hollow inside, knowing you all were in Hotlanta having fun.

NEXT year definitely. ;)

Lets see....
Friday I went to school in the morning, then to the fairgrounds and ran a bush hog for 4 hours. Then went out to the farm and baled 1100 bales of hay.
Saturday, put all that hay in the barn, then baled another 600 bales and put it in the barn.
Sunday....cleaned stalls and caught up on stuff here at home.

So even though it would be the right thing to do, I really can't say I'm glad ya had a good time you knife gawkin blade show travelin slacker! :p

Nice to meet you Mark. ;) I had a great time. It was a bit expense of a trip to take but it was fun. I'm glad I got to go but doubt I'll be going again. Too much $$$ for us poor people. :D It was great to meet alot of the forum members and shake hands with knifemaking legends. Simply an overwhelming event to say the least.

Sorry I missed out on meeting You Mark. Welcome to the ABS!

Thanks Bruce,

With any luck I'll be there again next year. And with even greater luck, I'll be your neighbor-to-the-North shortly after the show. I'm looking at buying some land and building up in Colville :D

My great uncle Frank lives in Colville.

If you and him both lived there, I don't know if the other people would be able to get boots tall enough to wade through all the bull$hit :p :D :p

As always it was great to see you Mark.

Thanks for the Hawk it looks whole now with your stamp on it! ;)

The A.B.S. got another good person that is for sure.

One of the nice events at BLADE was getting together with Gus and Danbo and other forumites on Thursday evening for supper.
If you are reading this, I would heartily recommend participating next year if Gus is gonna set it up in '06. I sure hope to be able to do so.

Thanks John. Meeting you was a highlight of Blade for me.

Yup we'll do it every year. I think this was the 5th or 6th.
I have to find a place that will put up with 50 or 60 of us :D.
