We are currently into the sixth week of living with renovations and decorating. Absolutely lost track of my PM2, and in the organised chaos had just mentally written it off. Got home from work today and the guys had left it out for me. Covered in plaster dust and with a bit of emulsion on the spine. I thought, ‘Did they use it?’ But no, the edge is exactly as I left it, which had had almost no use since being sharpened a few days ago.

Restores my faith in humanity somewhat. You all have a good Thanksgiving, sending best wishes from the United Kingdom.

Most of the best folks I know got the worst callouses on their palms and fingers. Not all, but certainly most.
