I dug up this ceramic stick I had laying around and decided to try it.
It works pretty good on the 1095. Ive finally managed to get an edge on this knife. figured I'de try to capture some sunlight in the yellow scales while I was at it.

I like it. Very nice stockman. High riding spey blade, I am not that big fan of them but scales are very pretty!

i really like the mooremaker yellow bone . i've had 3 in last 15 yrs. if a person leaves something in the outdoors yellow is easier to spot. i once left some zeiss binoc. on a stump while elk hunting, held my breath till i found them [lucky]

It's funny, I'm just theopposite. The higher the better.

I love ye yellow bone Dennis. Looks kind of antique like

I am really enjoying my Spyderco sharpening ceramic stones. I bought the brown and white profile set, as well as the fat 3" slab ultra fine. I had no problem cleaning up my paramilitary in D2 with this set. It had alot of striations from the factory sharp edge, (not complaining, it was used alot without going dull) and now I have a nice polished edge, and it is sharp enough to shave arm hair, just short of hair whittlin. It almost catches the hair, but not quite. It had no issue cutting into the D2 at all. Spyderco stones are great.

Thanks for the copliments guys.CJ the thing I likea bout the ceramic as it seems not to take off too much steel. Are you suppossed to use it with water or oil? I'm not sure, I've been using it dry.
neeman it is indeed a 3 1/4. I'm used to 3 5/8, but I got used to this one. it's just big enough.

Use the stones dry, there is no need for oil. I wash them off with soap and water, and all comes off. If there is residue on the ceramics that soap does not take off, I use my good ol Bar Keepers Friend, and all is pure as the driven snow, oops I mean ceramic.
