I was wondering how the izula scales are held in place on the izula. Since its all cut out in the knife, idk how they stay on. I want to make some full scales and need to know how they are attached. the best thing would be a pic with only 1 scale installed.

Here ye go. Might be hard to tell, but the red thingy is a tougher paper/plastic or something like that. Not sure what it is honestly, but it simply keeps the handles from sliding around. Two screws hold it all on there.

Let Keep it on topic peeps
There is a spacer that fits inside of Izula handle and the 2 screws to hold everything together.

I dont have a set, yet, but it also looks like the scales are machined a little around the edge do it fits in the hole in the handle like a puzzle piece. Is that right?

yes sir..... there is a raised radius on the scale to help it not to move around and screws well keep it together :D

It's the truth. Not sure why it got so carried away.

Ghost Wolf made a set for himself a while back, they looked nice. :)

I've seen at least two other home made scales since then, but cant remember who did them.

Lol. That's like asking "How are my pants kept up without dropping and telling people that you knew Belts existed. Are you using the wording wrong or am I the one wrong for telling you the horrible truth?

This is by all means civil and logical, can't we all laugh once in a while?

I've got a lot of respect for any youngster that gets on this forums and asks questions. Wished there were more kids spending their time learning about knives and the outdoors instead of playing video games and watching TV.
