After trading off my BM bali, I realised I needed to have a balisong, and that I also needed to have some clue as to how to open the darn thing. I could do single and double windmills, backhand openings forward and reverse, and that's about it, I really wasn't aware exactly what went into flashy openings. Well, I bought myself a beater-Bear MGC- on Monday (at least the auto parts/gun & knife store was open for the holiday-yes auto parts AND guns!)and started trying out stuff on balisongxtreme and balisong.com(looks like it's just excerpts from a Jeff Imada vid) I can do about 80% of the stuff I see on these sites w/o looking too awkward, and I dulled the blade on the Bear to help protect myself while I work on these aerials and thumb rollovers (7 cuts before I got smart):D But I'd like to know what vid's are out there. I checked out Gollnick's site, but is that all that's out there for balisong videos? Book's are alright, but I need to see the blade in motion to really get the movement down. And how else can I view the avi's on Gollnick's site? Those big ones would take quite a while on my 56K. :( And while I'm buggin' you guys for info anyway, what should I get next-BM or Tachyon or Monarch or SWAT? I've got something 'special' on order that defintely won't be a flipper!

Everything on Balisongextreme is available on a CD for $15, including all the avi's. There was talk to a new DVD based one, but I doubt if anything is going to come out of that anytime soon.

As for the next bali: I vote for the Tachyon. They're currently shipping.
