I have one and can't figure out the best way to carry it so I was looking for some ideas on different methods of carry or fancy sheath setups. Anyone got one?

Receipt -- you know, they paper you get when you buy something. I wrap the ECO in that so it doesn't slice the pouch, and then put the wrapped head in the pouch.

i put mine in a cordura zippered envelope - like you put pencils in.

they cost a dollar or two at office supply or craft stores.

i just made a wooden liner for it, but i haven't finished it as my shop is upside down right now as i set up the new machines.

i think a small sheet of sueded leather, as is sometimes used by outdoorsman for making friction fires and flint knapping, is a nice thing to have along - you could staple or sew that with a little envelope on one side for it to put your ECO in.

i like multi-purpose stuff - that's why i don't care for most sheaths, as well as they are made.

i do the same thing with my proper hawks - i just wrap them with some material, which can be quickly used for other things.

i'll try to get pics of my rig ASAP.

I keep it wrapped in the receipt inside the pouch it came with.

How much iz the Eco hawk?

I just ordered my first Eco from Erica and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. I also want to comment on her communication. I initially just emailed to get a price but once I found out I decided to go ahead and order one. After letting her know I wanted one it was literally five minutes before I had a paypal payment request in my inbox and after paying for it with special delayed shipping instructions she emailed me almost immediately to make sure my shipping stuff was all correct. I am certainly impressed with the great communication and that's almost as important to me as the product I'm buying.

thanks for chiming in, brother. that helps us a lot.

we do our best, and if our best isn't good enough, we like to think that our buyers are somewhat comforted by our unconditional warranty that we call the Happiness Guarantee.

Engine hoist.

wouldn't that be nice.

got no engine to hoist, regrettably.

block and tackle made out of scrounged construction wood, like grampa would....

it's terrible having so many buddies, so far away!

i like the old-fashioned solutions anyways - they make the Wild look more like undeveloped property. :D:thumbup:
