How to tweak MCusta pivot

Hello all,

I just received a very nice MCusta Basic as a Christmas gift. The only issue with it is that the blade is off-center when closed, almost touching the non-locking liner. I'm pretty sure tightening the pivot a bit would fix this, but I can't for the life of me figure out how. On one side, the pivot screw is just a slotted head, but on the other it is perfectly round. Just using a screwdriver causes the pivot to spin.

Do any of you guys have a suggestion on how to fix this?

I just tightened up my Mcusta tonight and I used a pencil eraser. Don't know if that's a proper technique but it worked just fine for me.

Hmm... didn't get that to work, but figured out that putting a piece of tape over the pivot and scale let me tweak it. That didn't fix anything, so I busted the whole thing down and switched the washers on either side of the blade. That didn't fix anything either. It's really more of a cosmetic issue than anything, so I guess I'll just live with it.

Thanks for the tip anyways.

Slightly loosen the pivot, open the knife. apply pressure on the blade to move it TOWARDS the liner it is almost touching, retighten the blade and close it to check if centered.
