How well do all of you like your Apogee's ?

Maybe some of you saw my other posts on the other forum but I figured that this would be a better place to ask this. I think that this is the knife that I want as my first custom but I don't want to spend that much on a knife and it not be a really good choice. When I say really good choice I mean that Darrel's work is as good as anybody else's. From what I understand it is, but I don't want to make an un- informed choice. I really think that he is the maker that I want to do business with because I have e-mailed him 2 or 3 times and he has answered my questions in a timely and informative manner. Thanks for your help and I look forward to reading your posts.

I know it will be a good choice for you. My favorite carry for over a year has been a DA Apogee. One thing you can take to the bank is that Darrel will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy.

Go for it - you won't be sorry! Darrell is one of the finest people you could ever hope to deal with & his knives are as good as anybody's( better than most!). My Extreme Apogee is one of my favorites - just a great carry knife & is very classy too!

Fact of the matter is, any knife from Darrel is a good choice. If you're not happy with the knife for any reason, tell him and he will make it right.

John, you'll be very satisfied. I just picked up a small Apogee that Darrell made for a show and it is strong as an ox and light as a feather.
