Howler is great!

I've used my Howlin' Rat extensively around the kitchen on all manner of deadly fruits and vegetables. It sure cuts bigger than it looks. The handle material is great. Even when coated with melon guts the grip never gets slippery. This Rat is going to be an excellent trail knife.

Glad to hear it's working well for you. I've used mine in the kitchen quite a bit as well and I've found it to do the job flawlessly. It's also nice if you need it to pry open that sticking drawer
