Howling Rat 'Concurrence'

I wondered which knives are quite similar to the Howling Rat (knives which are comparable by size, blade & handle geometry) besides ofcourse the more expensive Badgers Attack of Busse Combat. I know for instance that Ontaria Knives makes the Tak knive which is quite similar (besides the fact that the handle slabs are made out of micarta) to the Howling Rat.


If you know knives that come close to the HR, please feel free to mention them so I can compare them.

There might be others that look similar and have similar blade profiles but there aren't many that perform like the HR. With our steel and proprietary heat treat we get some amazing performance from the HR. Of course there is the warranty also

I must admit that I have not looked any further than the HR in that respect...I might be lazy, or I may have found the perfect 'all-rounder'!....

Now have I mentioned anything about a possible Tan HR Eric?
