Howling Rat Question.

I have decided to order one of these as an all purpose field utility knife. I am curious after browsing their web site there is no info about sheaths that I could see. Do they come with a sheath of some sort? If not, who makes a good but affordable piece of leather for this knife.

Glad I could help out.:) I'm sure you will like the HR once you get it in your hands.:cool: Please let us know what you think about it once you have had a chance to give it a workout.

I have one of MtMike's sheaths for my HR. It's a nice piece of work IMO.

Hi Jon -- welcome to the Rat Pack -- most of us who have made leather sheaths for the Rats are also Rat owners. That's how I got the Rat line started -- by doing my own :D That also means you won't have another wait once you get your Howler, in fact you could get a sheath in your hands before you get the blade for it ! I just wish Drew had put up an "after" shot with lots of pine pitch, tomato seeds and white-tail hair on the rig.
Jim - just did another one in that deep reddish -brown like yours -- that's getting to be my favorite :)

The RWBToJ will probably get it to you a couple of days earlier than Buster Brown.:D At least that what I've noticed since the switch.:cool:
