I need to apologize:

I've been lazy, and haven't gotten together the leather handled khukuri, OR complete Omrie's Panawal (both of which I have had for 5 months). Please accept my apology.

I have some maple scales on Blackdogs ol' Panawal, but haven't attached or shaped entirely. Omrie's Panawal I wanted to use some gray G-10 on, but it just has dust on top.

I hate to make excuses, and I just wanted to tell everyone of my negligence. I plan on completing them, but I am not sure when.

Hey Ray,

If I'm not mistaken, all those projects are labors of love aren't they? Those type of projects always take the longest and are valued the most. I still have the Maddog custom SN-1 and wouldn't part with it. If I would have had to wait a year it would have been worth it.

Don't be so hard on yourself Bud. Some things just can't be set to a calander schedule.

I got around to attaching the maple to Blackdogs old Panawal the other nite and tried using some 'bolts' like some of the std knives come with to keep the scales on. Its an experiment, and its a bit 'ugly' by most folks standards.

Its a different handle shape from before and once I get a few more coats of finish on it I'll take it out to the stump in the backyard and try it out.

WOW! And he even has the "early" GH logo (actually, not a good thing, as the newer ones are better looking in my opinion).

Being a parent of a preschooler don't make it easy to find time for "labors of love" other than that required to be a good family man.
