After waiting since January 31st, I finally gave up on getting the B&C 113 from the dealer and got a refund. Then I found this one and I'm glad I did. I like it better than the B&C model and it was $20 less! Scales are elk, malachite and catseye corian.

Great looking knife. Very nice scales. Sure seems like that would be a very popular model.

Very nice indeed Dave, is it a factory custom or did someone add the malachite and corion?

Outstanding knife, Dave. Now we need picks of it dressing a white tail. ;)

Not gonna happen. I don't hunt and couldn't dress a deer if I did. I've got too weak a stomach! :barf:

Thanks Kev, it's a custom job and very well done.

Those are from the Legacy Series. Nice up-grades. DM

It isn't a Legacy model David. It has the mirror polished custom blade like the Yellowhorse but the model number on the box is the same as the standard wood handled 113 with the satin finished blade (no custom stamp). The Boone and Crockett model has the custom stamped blade but it's also satin finished, so this one may have used that blade, but the builder polished it to the mirror finish.

What ever the components, it's very well done and rivals any custom worked knife I have.

Wow that's a real looker Dave! I think there is just enough room on that stag for some scrim work by Leesa;)

I need to handle one, if it's not too small I "need" a 113 soon. Haven't even seen one yet though. Looks nice and the one you have is a real looker!

Hmmmm, I hadn't thought about that. :)

Ok, somebody's already modifying those models. DM

I believe Eric has done some with stag handles.

It won't be like handling one, but here's a couple of photo's to show a size comparison.

Nice pix. Looks like a great size as a field knife. Just happened to see a standard model today while surfing the net. Yours is as beautiful a knife as I've seen.

That has to be one of the of the coolest Bucks I've ever seen the 113 is an instant classic IMO.

It's beautiful knife. Dave congratulation.
I have one 113 B&C series. But now I want classic for real work.
