So after going down and meeting with Liet. Col. Borden with the Volunteer Battalion, I ran into my X. Dont get me started!:grumpy: So, as I have a tendency of doing (spending mindless amounts of $ of mindless things) I went to Best Buy here in Knoxville, Tennessee with the intent on getting a new CD.

I got 3 CD's!

Oh but it gets better, or worse, if you are looking at it financially....

Then upon hearing some thumping back in the mobile audio section of the store, I ventured back there and spoke with the Senor of the Dept. and she told me that I could get set up with a good system. I begged her to call in someone to install them for me and informed her that I was bought to drop a grand on something.

So I settled for 2 Infinity 10 inch subs with a 1,200 Watt Sony Xplode amp, a box, the wiring kits, and 6 hours walking aimlessly throughout Best Buy!

6 hours later, at about 2100 hours, I was set to drive back home with one killer system!!! Here are a few pictures. I took them tonite so they are not the best. I am going to get some better ones of the amp too. Stay tuned!!!!

You guys have NO idea how hard this system hits!!!! :D I have 600 watts going to each sub. I was turning truckers heads driving up the interstate to my house on the way home. I am going to buy an aftermarket CD player next week when I get a few hundred dollars from the parents. Hope you guys like these pictures. I have spent like 100 bucks on gas just driving around town rocking some Papa Roach and other hard rock jams.

Also, tonite, i went back to Best buy and got something that i forgot to get the other day... The Performance Service Plan on the subs. It was $14.99 on each sub. Talk about a deal! When I go back to get my aftermarket CD player, I am going to get my amp PSP'ed too!!! :);)

Oh yea, I almost forgot. I also got a new cheap Confederate belt buckle!

You spent a thousand dollars to make your trunk thump?

No.

And that's the problem.

He spontaneously spent a thousand dollars as an outlet for frustrations resulting from a brief, chance meeting with his ex.

Counciling is cheaper in the long run.

Another reason why every truck should mount a recoilless rifle....

yeah.... and dont forget the glorious confederate belt buckle to offend every minority and person of color that isnt pist off by his loud ass lil car

Cougar, you are out of your mind! ;)

Yea, spending $ isnt a good way to deal with relationship problems but I had the $, and I had been wanting to get a system for quite a while so it's all good.:)

I guess they thought you were "cute" in that sorta' gay-burly-truckdriver-meets-moron kinda' way.

You should add a platinum and jeweled cup for flossin. Then you'd be da man.

*Files picture away*
Can't wait to get you into one of my classes up here.

Valley, if someone is offended by Southern Heritage, then they can get over it. I am entitled to my thoughts and opinions and I am not concerned with "offending" a minority or anyone else. If a belt buckle offends you....

i am from georgia, have lived in the south most of my life, and am proud of my southerness however i also know enough to understand that the confed flag (which isnt even the correct one ) is an offensive symbol and i have never met a person that displayed them that had an iq over 100 and i am guessing this proves my point.

False. You are attempting to make a valid assumption on my education or IQ when you do not know me, based on the fact that I bought a 5 dollar Confederate belt buckle. THAT shows YOUR maturity level and intelligence in making such a blanket statement and assuming everyone that owns Confederate memorabilia is uneducated.

Not to mention, "Southerness" ????? ANd you attack other people's IQ levels... Hmmmmm. Thanks for your enlightening inputs to this thread that have NOTHING to do with the topic.

Marty, where do you teach?
Cadre at Warrior Forge. If you make it up here, I'll be the tall guy teaching one of your classes. Cool thing is....there are lots of tall guys and lots of classes, so you'll have a near impossible time trying to figure out who I am. You'll know before the end of that class though.:D

Awesome! Thanks for your service. How do you like teaching up there? Did you get your commission via ROTC or were you enlisted? I am sure I will make it up there at some point. And you will have to hear my system ;)

I am still enlisted. I work for my living. I teach various subjects when you cadets are on the ground up here (subject depends on what cycle). Great place to be and being Cadre is a fairly easy job compared to my primary MOS (21B) so I'm not complaining. My job is kind of like being a Drill SGT for cadets.
