So... since my china cheapie broke a handle, I've been in bali-withdrawl. I went to my local knife shop. They had one bali. I was looking for a BM 42 plain edge. They had a BM 42 plain edge. I bought the BM 42 plain edge. I am happy.
The factory edge was shaving-sharp, and the point was pointy--very pointy, like a needle--literally.
Minor blade play, barely touching the sides of the channels now that I adjusted the torx screws. I noticed that the titanium handles have a different feel from steel. Not just lighter, they feel a little grippier than steel or aluminum. Has anyone else noticed this? or is it all psychological? Anyone know what size torx the pivots are? I used T10, but it felt a little loose in the screw head.
P.S. --I got my first deer today, a nice clean heart/lung shot
It was a good thanksgiving break
