Yesterday was a terrible day to start out with. I got caught up in watching the news and the series of events that would happen during the morning. I was so sad yesterday that I didn't even eat lunch. When I got back to work from my break, there was a small package on my desk. I rushed in and opened it and found my new Meerkat and my Temperance. Man, these knives rock! Sal and Co. really brightened up my gloomy day. Thanks Sal! I have been wanting this Temperance since I saw the proto at the 2000 Blade Show. This thing is Sal's baby and just to look at it, you can tell alot of time and thinking went into it. I love the pocket clip and the blade style and the way the handle feels. I can't find anything about this knife that I don't like. I also love the phanton lock on the Meerkat. Enough talk, here are some pics:

***** Don't forget to say a prayer today for the Fire, Rescue, Police, Military, and all the victims of the events yesterday.******

Am I imagining things or does the Temperance Jr. sport an oversized opening hole like the Military?

Also, how does the Temp jr feel in a reverse grip? I've been curious as to how the handle feels this way.

I can't wait to get mine :D

some specs please. I want to know what blade steel they're made of, and what lock the temperance has.

Thanks!

Jeff

ThinkoftheChildren, you aren't imagining things. The Spydie hole is as big as the Military. I love it! I have been playing with it and it feels great in reverse grip. The holes in the clip and the demples in the scale make it easy to put it in reverse grip also.

Jeff, sorry I forgot to add this:

Temperance: 3" blade made from cpm 440v

Meercat: 2" blade made from 440c

Both knives are made right here in the good ole USA too under Sal's close supervision.

The UPS man dropped off my large Chris Reeve Sebenza 2 days ago, but I was gloomy because a friend I have not seen in 2 years died. Then this happenes.... It may be a great knife, but I just cannot feel good about it.....

I covet that upswept Temperance. Did you get yours through the collectors club or have these started to arrive at dealers?

I wonder if that shade of green is the natural colour of G10.

Hi All,

Toolin, sorry to hear about your friend. I'll say a prayer for his friends and family.

I am in the collector's club so thats where my Temperance came from. They will slowly, and I mean slowly be trickling out of Colorado.

Hi Carlos. The color of the Lil' Temperance is a little darker and less translucent than natural G10.

The Temperance is real eyecatching, sort of a Chinook Jr. What's interesting is that clip and how that'll hold up.:)

Well, that is two more on the wish list. Thank you Michael for sharine the pics and specs with us.

Thanks Sal, I hope to get one eventually.

Jeff, the Temperance has a nested Compression lock.
