Check out this tutorial spkie hawk , some of them make ok patch knives too depending on the carbon content, the ones marked with an HC are supposed to be a higher carbon content but I have had difficulty verifying this. Heat treat a couple and see if they get hard or not and you'll know if they are any good for this.
