Here's a screen capture. What's going on? Happens probably 1 out of every 5-6 replies, doesn't matter what computer I'm on....though it happens more here at work.

It's likely to help if you can give the url(s) that's giving you that error message. Also, if you try again do you get the same error message or do you get the thread?

it happens when I try to reply to a post. If I go back and type out my reply again, it usually works. It has been going on for months. Before and after the upgrade. I have yet to recognize a pattern....

could it be something related to the cookies settings in IE?

Nobody else has been complaining ... there must be a problem with your computer, I guess, but I can't see what would cause that error message to come up.

I don't see how. I hope Spark can come up with some idea because I'm stumped.

I'm not sure what's up about that. I'll see if I can dig up an answer on the tech support forums.

I am getting the same post error message. I am using DSL with a Westell modem off a Netgear router. I suspect that my setup is mucking up the PC's IP address, and that is causing an IP fail. But, I am not sure how that impacts BF's software.

ok....now I know it's not just me.

N2S - I'm on a standard dialup, no "firewalls", etc.

It's happened at home too...

I'm quite surprised no one else has had this problem....maybe other folks just think it's their fault, and don't worry about it....??

We should pose the question to one of the more frequented forums....

What browsers & ISP's & system OS's are you using? I need this information as well.

Spark,

I am using Windows XP, Microsoft Explorer, and Bellsouth DSL.

At home:

K. I'm doing research to see what's going on with this. For right now, try to workaround by hitting reload if possible, or hitting back and clicking on the reply button again.
