I love this blade shape >>

I noticed this Kit Carson designed CRKT in my catalog yesterday. I really like the shape, but I'm not all that fond of the knife as a whole. CRKT describes it as follows:

The new swedged and recurved blade is ground to a spear point shape, using premium AUS 8 stainless steel in non-reflective frost finish to offer superior edge retention. The grind incorporates a false top edge and deep belly, yet retains a full width central spine for most of its width for maximum strength.

Anybody aware of a folder with the same blade shape? How about one with nice carbon fiber or micarta scales? I'd love to see some other examples.

Patrick, they're not CF but are still damn good looking: MercWorx . I've read on these forums that they could be called knock-offs of Walter Brend's designs.

Thanks a bunch, arcanum. I just read a review on their "Three Fates" models in a magazine this month. They look pretty nice. I really like their use of Micarta, looks very nice. I'll try a search here at the forums as well. Thanks.
