I`m Back Home

Well, I l feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off and can't seem to get anything done... but that isn't so new since I moved.

OH... I am planning on hiking up Mt. Whitney at the end of next month. It will be my first "backpacking" experience.

I hope all went well for you and your family John.

Hey John, hope you're hanging in there! I can tell you that two things have happened to me since I have been at this forum; I have decided I need a few more of your knives, and every time I click on a photo of someone cooking something using their JK, I have to make the same food. Last week was BLT's and Steak, this week had to make some of the jalapeno poppers with the bacon and cream cheese. Can someone make a salad to at least point me in the right direction!
welcome back
Dan

I hope all went well for you and your family John.

As well as can be expected. They moved Connie`s mom from the hospital to a hospice because they can`t do any more for her. She came home on Tuesday, they say she has 3-6 months left to live.

1st things first, welcome back home John. 2nd, sorry to hear about Connie's Mom & the current Dr. prognosis & forecast. My thoughts & prayers to her, to Connie & you & the rest of the family.

I Stomper -

Sad to hear.

My mother in law has been with hospice for several months - now we think it is a matter of days.

Death is a part of life. Sad, but we are all on our way there.

Prayers will continue.

As far as what has been going on here - the usual! As Dan said, we all have been posting pictures of food and beautiful scenery from hikes and camping.

All of it with our JK knives of course.

Glad you are back.

best regards -

Good to see you made it back safely! You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Good to see you back, John. I hope that all is as well as can be, given the circumstances, and that the next few months go smoothly for everyone.

I have also only recently returned, but in my case it was from a trip to Algonquin, during which my JK ACEK and fire kit did their jobs admirably. Loads of pics here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751227

All the best,

- Mike

Sorry to hear that John.
Hospice people are awesome though, so you know she's in good hands.
Best wishes.
