Hey Guys,
I just had to post a pic of my first hawk. It's a railroad spike hawk triple quenched in water with an oak handle. I'm just so pround of my baby, I had to post a pic of her:

It turned out pretty cool and my local FCF (a religious buckskinner's group) buddies want one so I decided to start selling them under the name "Railhawk". I copyrighted this name a little while back since I hadn't seen it used before and thought it would be a cool marketing name. Has it been used before? I've worked in publishing for some time and am very sensitive to copyright issues...
ANYWAY... As to hawk manufacturers... I'm in the process of developing another hawk. For years I've been thinking, "Wouldn't it be neat if a hawk had....". Well I decided it would be neat and since no one else makes it, I want to put it into production. To be honest though, with all the other things I'm working on I wouldn't have time to personally forge these hawks. Can someone offer me a tip in finding a manufacturer (prefferably U.S. based)to put together some prototypes and eventually produce the hawks for me? I am currently in the process of patenting the hawks and would like to make the prototypes in a few months with production starting within a year. If anyone can help steer me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Tim
