I need some kydex help!

I bought a few Spec Ops Combat Master sheaths, and for some reason, the kydex inserts that came in the black sheaths are warped. They are warped so that if the insert were removed and laid on its side, the ends would touch the ground, but the middle is bowed up about 3/8ths of an inch. The space where the blade goes is consistent, so both "walls" are warped.
Can someone tell me the best way to fix this? I know it can be heated and formed, but how do I heat it, and what is the best way to handle it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had one that was just as you described. I didn't want to change the shape just wanted to straighten it out so I used two paint stir sticks and a hair dryer to warm it up. The stir sticks kept the sides from bowing and the hair dryer got it just warm enough so the stir sticks could hold it straight while it cooled.

It's good to go now and no longer drags on the knife when I use it.
