Hi soul assasin

I get virtually all my knives from the U. S. Some companies won't ship abroad due to problems, but although some have been openned by customs, I have never had an order go missing or had anything seized. The only thing you have to expect is you will be charged an import tax on the declared value of the package. Even so, it is usually cheaper to get them from the US - sometimes quicker too believe it or not. If you are getting single piece, you might want to look at UK suppliers like the British Knife Collector's Guild or Heinnie Haynes - for example shipping is free with the BKCG but can cost $26-70 from a U.S distrubutor depending on their shipping method.

It's not illegal to import knives (unless it's discovered that you have imported a switchblade or butterfly knife) - just to carry them "without good reason". See the BKCG site for some info on laws. There used to be a great KnivesUK site but it seems to be out of action.

Enjoy!

You should be fine with customs.

Order away :)

Try knifecentre.com. Great service to the UK, much better choice and MUCH cheaper than UK suppliers.
