...to cut carpet to throw away, and I tell you that blade preformed extremly well. Very sharp. It cut threw that thick berber type carpet like butter. I didn't have to much to cut but it was enough for me to know that the Swamp Rat line of knives will do any job well, for the money. After I cut up that carpet I carefully felt the blade and it was still very much sharp.

Swamp Rat knives are awesome.

Truthfully I can't wait to hear how Jeff Randall and his crew liked the Howling Rat. Should be intersting.

Glad you gave that Rat a workout.

I've cut up a bunch of boxes with my HR and I had the same results, sliced through like butter and still sharp when I was done.

Keep workin' them Rat's ;):D:D
 
I used my HR yesterday to prepare beef stew.Cubed the beef,skinned and cubed the potatos and onions,and diced the carrots.It got a little dull from bangeing into my cutting board,but a couple of swipes on a Sharpmaker ceramic and it was popping hair again!Wish I had thought to take some pics....:rolleyes:
