Idea for a new RAT product

We've kicked around the idea of a RAT boonie hat.
What about making (or contracting) something like the RealDealBrazil tarp hats, with something like the ESEE shield patch that EMGear sells on it?

I'd like to see a standard Boonie type hat w/ logo
to me those get hot, I gave two away.... I still have another lying somewhere

I lost my OD one somewhere. Probably left it in the bank when they made me take it off. I need a new Boonie. It's hell getting old and forgetful. Maybe an ESEE Geezer Emergency Transmitter. "Help, I'm lost in my own backyard and I can't remember why I went back here".
 
I got 3 from a friend in Brazil.... and they are well built but dang..they get hot on your head...nothing like a canvas tarp hat on your head on a hot Texas day....
I just gave them away.... I like the original Boonie style
 
I'd dig a boonie, lost mine somewhere i have no recollection off. Not meaning i was drunk, just dont where the hell it is....
 
1 project at time boys. Please! I've got my eye on the prize of panties right now. When that's done I'll get working on the sweatshirts.
 
Boonie hat would be cool - I would prefer closer to the mil-spec type, though... maybe with a SERE pocket inside and cord lock on the chin strap so you could cinch it and wear it with the sides rolled up.

I still have my Army one with cat eyes and glint tape, but the woodland camo makes it look like a beat-up piece of militia gear.
 
That has got to be the UGLIEST hat I have ever seen in my life.

Which means it must be tough as nails...

As silly as it may seem I plan on getting a genuine pith helmet at some point in the future. Apparently the ones made with actual pith (not the crappy fiberglass costume ones) do a fantastic job at keeping you cool.

For something that doesn't get me laughed at, an ESEE boonie hat would be awesome. :D
 
I've looked around for pith helmets, but can never find any, and everyone acts like I'm a dork for asking, so I just end up getting pithed off. . .
 
What I think would be cool would be a boonie hat made from the same folks who make that Esee backpack.
 
+1 for the aussie slouch hat.
I don't mind boonie hats, but prefer a wider brim.
do not think I would wear a cordura hat, though.

If it were anyone other than 42 I might think the pith helmet was strange. Walking around the woods in his helmet with his viking machete.
